Come along, lets have some fun!

Explore nature in a revolutionary way.     Join us for adventures in nature with hands-on tree planting, soil building, and wildlife habitat reconstruction.  We offer  tours and educational programs for people with  interests such as campfire cooking, tipi living, couples weekends, biking, hiking, canoeing, council of all beings workshops,  women of the woods  and leadership development.  Escape to the nearby countryside, we'll take care of the details.

Working together  to repair our environment can create a sense of connection and deepen our understanding of the natural world to heal our spirit and the Earth.

Our Mission

ECO Tours of Wisconsin was founded as a not for profit organization to provide fun, active environmental education, while restoring the balance and integrity of native ecosystems.

We reforest critical areas, along waterways, depleted farmlands and land open to erosion.   Our educational programs are flexible and conducive to lifelong learning, educating and enlightening our guests about the deep impact every day decisions can make to the world around them.

ECO  Tours  bridges the ever widening gap left by environmental budget cuts.  Our priorities are to improve overall water quality, reduce erosion of valuable topsoil and create habitat for  wildlife ensuring a sustainable future for the next seven generations.

How we treat the earth is both a direct reflection of how we treat one another and evidence of how well we treat ourselves.

The Birth of ECO Tours

The idea for ECO  Tours began when founder Tony Saladino was a boy.  Growing up in Green Bay Wisconsin he saw the polluted rivers and damage that had been done to the earth by area industry and envisioned a way to actively educate people about their environment and their place in it.

In 1987, Tony, set off on a great journey by bicycle around the Great Lakes, 4200 miles, to share his passion about the environment.   He spoke at schools,  civic organizations and on radio programs and was interviewed for many local newspapers along the way.

Tony also gained valuable experience working with Citizens for a Better Environment, a non- profit organization, teaching people how they can  improve their  standard of living  while protecting the environment.

Over the past 20 years, with friends and family, Tony has planted more that 10,000 trees.  Urged to make his boyhood dream a reality, he organized ECO  Tours of Wisconsin.
